I have written several articles on postings related to politicians. A list of links have been provided at bottom of this article for your convenience. This article will, however address different aspects on these politicians.

Tom Cotton was born on May 13, 1977 in Arkansas,  son Thomas Leonard Cotton a district supervisor in the Arkansas Health Department and Avis Cotton a school teacher and later principal. Tom grew up on his family’s cattle farm. He graduated from Dardanelle High School. He subsequently graduated from Harvard after only three years. He than went on to complete his Master’s Degree from Claremont Graduate University. He worked in the Law Office Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher.

In 2005 enlisted  in the Army. He served in the infantry branch. He entered Officer Candidate School, and was subsequently commissioned a 2nd lieutenant. He was deployed to Baghdad as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was promoted to 1st lieutenant.  In 2010 he transferred to the Army Reserve. In 2013 he was discharged as a captain. During his military service he was awarded  the Bronze Star and several other badges of accomplishment.

In 2014 Cotton  married attorney Anna Peckham. The couple have 2 children. They are members of the United  Methodist  Church.

In 2013 Cotton won 4th District in Arkansas for the House of Representatives. He immediately became an opponent of Obama’s domestic and foreign policy. He voted to eliminate the 2013 statutory pay adjustment for federal employees.  He voted against the 2013 farm bill. He also voted against the Agricultural of 2014. Cotton  and Pompeo claimed that there was collusion between Iran and the international atomic energy agency.

While in the House, he served in the following committees: US House Committee on Financial Services; US House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

In 2015 he won the seat in the Senate. While in the Senate he received several death threats.

He drew heat for several articles he has written while in Congress. In one article he called Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton race hustling charlatans. In another article he said systemic racism did not exist in the US.

While in the Senate, Cotton served in the following committees: US Senate Committee on Armed Forces; US Senate  Committee  on Banking, Housing, Urban Affairs; US  Senate Special Committee on Aging; US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; Joint Economic Committee and the Senate Economic Committee.

Cotton is anti-gun control, opposes the Affordable Care Act,  opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants, is for improving money laundering laws. He is also for improving our infrastructure, is for increasing minimum wage in Arkansas. He is for banning abortions after 20 weeks after fertilization. He is against Federal control on college loan interest rates. He is for tighter controls on trade with Iran. He is for tighter monitoring on Russia.

(Update 1/15/2021) Tom Cotton supported President Trump throughout his presidency, that is until it truly mattered. He sided with the left and voted against Trump on January 6. 2021. He refused to supported his bid a recount in 4 key states. He could have also sloke out for an investigation by congress on an investigation into voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.  So Cotton showed his true colors and deserted Trump.
