The issue of reparations, nobody living was directly impacted by slavery in the south. Our parents were not impacted and neither were their parents. So How can bankrupting our country be justified? In today’s society you can find slavery all over the world. There are actually more white slaves than black slaves and most of them are either children or women. They are being enslaved for the sex trade. If anybody needs help it is these individuals. Just saying.

Anybody following politics in California had to have known that Gavin Newsom would not be unseated. While he probably the worse governor in our 50 states, he is substantially smarter than New York’s Cuomo. How much money and time was wasted? So now one of three things can happen; 1. no change. 2. he punishes everybody and makes the lockdowns even worse. 3. He realizes how close he came to loosing his job and makes things a little better.

Funny I thought it was the job of the military to protect our people and to kick anybody’s ass who threatens us or our borders? If I am not mistaken it is not their job to avoid conflict, that is the job of the  politician. So where does Milley get off saying that he was trying to prevent a conflict with China. It seems to me that he was divulging state secrets to the enemy. Does anybody think of China as our ally?

This is for any of you who are farmers or who own livestock, My wife and I just finished watching a movie entitled “The Stand at Paxton County.” We found it quite illuminating and disturbing.. Please make sure you watch it. It is based on true events. Apparently there has been movements in many of our western states, one being North Dakota by the Humane Society to get Measure 5 passed. It basically gives the state the right to confiscate part or all of your livestock if it is found out that you have been negligent in your care of them. Apparently the language is so vague that it pretty much gives them carte blanche to do what they want. If the charges are serious enough the livestock owners could serve jail time. The family that the story was based on finally ended up winning in court, but it was close. I plan on writing an article on it in my blog in the next week or so. This is just one more example of our government overstepping its mandate.

According to the newest count on deaths, in this coronavirus pandemic it is now considered to be more deadly than the Spanish flu in 1918. While it may be true that more people have died, we had a lot less people living in the United States in 1918. Population in 1918 was 105 million, population in 2021 is 330 million. So the percentages are certainly not the same. I know this is no consolation to the families that have lost loved ones.

REALITY CHECK -This is the elephant in the room with electric vehicles. Our residential infrastructure cannot bear the load. A home charging system for a Tesla requires 75 amp service. The average house is equipped with 100 amp service. On our small street (approximately 25 homes), the electrical infrastructure would be unable to carry more than three houses with a single Tesla each. In case you were thinking of buying hybrid or an electric car…Ever since the advent of electric cars, the REAL cost per mile of those things has never been discussed. All you ever heard was the mpg in terms of gasoline, with nary a mention of the cost of electricity to run it. At a neighborhood BBQ I was talking to a neighbor, a BC Hydro Executive. I asked him how that renewable thing was doing. He laughed, then got serious. If you really intend to adopt electric vehicles, he pointed out, you had to face certain realities. For example, a home charging system for a Tesla requires 75 amp service. The average house is equipped with 100 amp service. On our small street (approximately 25 homes), the electrical infrastructure would be unable to carry more than three houses with a single Tesla each. For even half the homes to have electric vehicles, the system would be wildly over-loaded. This is the elephant in the room with electric vehicles. Our residential infrastructure cannot bear the load. So, as our genius elected officials promote this nonsense, not only are we being urged to buy these things and replace our reliable, cheap generating systems with expensive new windmills and solar cells, but we will also have to renovate our entire delivery system! This later “investment” will not be revealed until we’re so far down this dead end road that it will be presented with an ‘OOPS…!’ and a shrug. If you want to argue with a green person over cars that are eco-friendly, just read the following. Note: If you ARE a green person, read it anyway. It’s enlightening. Eric test drove the Chevy Volt at the invitation of General Motors and he writes, “For four days in a row, the fully charged battery lasted only 25 miles before the Volt switched to the reserve gasoline engine.” Eric calculated the car got 30 mpg including the 25 miles it ran on the battery. So, the range including the 9-gallon gas tank and the 16 kwh battery is approximately 270 miles. It will take you 4.5 hours to drive 270 miles at 60 mph. Then add 10 hours to charge the battery and you have a total trip time of 14.5 hours. In a typical road trip your average speed (including charging time) would be 20 mph. According to General Motors, the Volt battery holds 16 kwh of electricity. It takes a full 10 hours to charge a drained battery. The cost for the electricity to charge the Volt is never mentioned, so I looked up what I pay for electricity. I pay approximately (it varies with amount used and the seasons) $1.16 per kwh. 16 kwh x $1.16 per kwh = $18.56 to charge the battery. $18.56 per charge divided by 25 miles = $0.74 per mile to operate the Volt using the battery. Compare this to a similar size car with a gasoline engine that gets only 32 mpg. $3.19 per gallon divided by 32 Mpg = $0.10 per mile. The gasoline powered car costs about $25,000 while the Volt costs $46,000 plus. So the Government wants us to pay twice as much for a car, that costs more than seven times as much to run, and takes three times longer to drive across the country. WAKE UP NORTH AMERICA!!!!!!!….copied from John Koth

9/28/2021 10:35 PM

What do you think of the federal government forcing their employees to get vaccinated or get fired? I hope they get sued. Unless it was part of their contract when they got hired, they can’t be forced to get it. They are also not giving people credit for natural Immunity. So unless they are using it as an excuse to trim some fat out of the federal government, which I seriously doubt, I can’t see the reason for it.

9/30/2021 5:47 PM

So now the government wants us to pay taxes on our possessions, ie property and houses if they go up in value. Since real-estate is liquid, meaning prices go up and down, are they going to refund me the money I paid in taxes if the market drops and houses go down in price? The hell you say? It has happened twice in the last 25 years. This is just a power grab. They don’t want a middle class. They are trying to bankrupt us.

10/8/2021

My question is we can recall a state governor and have a special election, why can’t we do the same for an incompetent and illegitimate president? Maybe we need a new constitutional amendment that provides for this? Basically a mulligan for the highest office. They have lemon laws for cars, why not for elected government officials?

I just saw the new James Bond Movie “No Time To Die”. It was very good, but very long. I think they could have cut out some stuff and made it shorter and it would have been even better for it. But what do I know. In this movie they apparently make a break from several old standbys. I don’t want to give away anything just yet, because the movie just came out and for all of you planning on going to see the movie deserve the same viewing experience that I had. Needless to say I was surprised by the movie. It has left me wondering where they are planning on taking the franchise? I also wonder if they shot themselves in the ass? But if you are an action movie fan, or a 007 fan, it is a must see. Just do yourselves a favor don’t drink any soda in the movie, because it is a long one and you won’t want to miss any part of it by having to run to the rest room. I think Daniel Craig will go down if not the best James Bond certainly the most believable one. While he did a lot of action scenes in the movie, they certainly were not on par with the ones in his earlier movies. He is definitely showing his age for this type of movie. Maybe it was a good time for him to retire from this series.

10/11/2021 8:46 AM

I am beginning to think that the FBI is becoming more and more like the Gestapo from Germany’s Nazi government. They already have their own SS in the form of antifa. I want to know if Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto are required reading for government officials? What are we going to have next, concentration camps and gulags for all dissenters? Will midnight raids on our homes be coming soon?

10/12/2021 3:39 AM

Are the management in Southwest Airlines, that stupid? What do they think they can just force all of their workers to take the vaccine? This could bankrupt them. I hope they are happy. The problem is that the government and many companies are not giving anyone credit for the far superior natural immunity. Also children and young healthy adults really don’t need the vaccination. I took the vaccines because I work in the ICU and I take care of COVID-19 patients, I also have several comorbidities. But nobody forced me to take them. My hospital has not mandated vaccines, and that is hw it should be. The problem is that the government has not been truthful about the efficacy of vaccines. If they would have been truthful about masks, therapeutics, vaccines and sheltering in place and the safe distancing from the start, we would be a lot better off and people might actually trust the information that is being put out there. But, know the government wanted to crush our rights and take more and more control of our lives.

10/20/2021 8:45 AM

Why are the working class being punished by these vaccine mandates? It is because a vast majority of them voted for Trump? House wives who presumably voted for Biden, are not really being affected. What do you think?

10/20/2021 1:01 PM

This is a warning to the fringe groups on the left side such as the transgender population, BLM and Antifa. Totalitarian governments don’t tolerate fringe groups or any groups related to religion or of any lifestyle that may be considered out of the norm. They are considered as a threat, because they are considered a dissenting view, ie one not held by the powerful elite. Transgender and, BLM and Antifa are simply tools and serve as a means to an end. Once communism overtakes this country, these groups will either assimilate into the culture or they will be eradicated. If you don’t believe me, Just just look at history. It has happened in Japan, when they tried to stamp out Christianity and the same thing is happening in China now, only in this case, these individuals are now imprisoned and are being forced to work labor camps. Russia falls under the same sphere, it is an atheistic society, that only marginally tolerates religion. So watch who you jump in bed with. They will learn all your secrets, and eventually you will become nothing more than an unnecessary irritant.

TRUMP and the Republican party want independent thinkers and self sufficient individuals. While the democratic party wants blind followers with no independent and original thinking and are codependent with no drive to create anything new, just to destroy.

I just watched an episode of Stinchfield on Newsmax discussing the back log of container ships in LA harbor. I did not know that China owns one of the largest docks in the harbor. They are basically blocking all shipments on that dock, which is impeding the movement of cargo by quite an amount. There is also no cargo loading on Sunday and they are only working at a much lower capacity on Saturday. They were also supposed to be doing an overnight shift, which is not the case either. There just doesn’t seem to be any impetus to get these containers moving out of the harbor.

10/25/2021 4:12 PM

This mask mandate, may be the best thing that has happened to this country. BLM and pro Trumpers were united in protesting the treatment of Kyrie Irving by the MBA. Even blue lives matter were not being attacked. People are uniting in other countries as well in protesting the vaccine mandates. I think the world’s governments may have finally gone too far in their power grabs.

10/27/2021 7:48 PM

I just watched a documentary entitled True Iran: The Global Jihad, I found out a few things I did not know. One being that in 2009, the people revolted under a Green movement and looked to America for assistance and our President Obama ignored their pleas for assistance. Imagine if we had helped them and they had been successful in over throwing the tyrannical theocracy in power, what the middle east would look like now. Without Iran stirring up all the hate in the middle east, we might actually have peace. Certainly Syria would look different and Afghanistan would not have the support of Iran. Just one more reason Obama let me down.

Biden Mulls $450K to Illegal Immigrants for Family Separation

Biden Mulls $450K to Illegal Immigrants for Family Separation

The Biden administration could pay illegal immigrants’ families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border $450,000 per person in settlements, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The payments could amount to close to $1 million per family. Some families would likely receive smaller payouts depending on the circumstances, according to the report.

Migrant children separated from their parents at the border were supposed to be reunited with their parents by the U.S. government within 30 days. That was in 2018.

Three years later, at least 1,000 children have not been returned to their parents. The Biden administration ended the policy through an executive order in June and created a Family Reunification Task Force that, as of Oct. 8, has reunited 52 families separated under former President Donald Trump. Roughly 2,800 children were taken from their parents under the 2018 policy, according to a report from the Department of Homeland Security.

Michelle Brané, the chair of the task force, said there was no system in place for documenting separations.

”So there’s nowhere to go to find out who was separated or not. It really is case-by-case detective work,” she said during an interview with CBS’ ”60 Minutes,” adding that the situation is ”shocking.”

“60 Minutes” correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi said a border station reportedly used a whiteboard to keep track of children.

The American Civil Liberties Union, which represents families in one of the lawsuits, says about 5,500 children were separated at the border over the course of the Trump administration, according to the Journal.

Many of the lawsuits describe lasting psychological trauma for both parents and children.

”President Biden has agreed that the family separation policy is a historic moral stain on our nation that must be fully remedied,” Lee Gelernt, deputy director of the ACLU’s immigrant-rights project and a lead negotiator on one of the lawsuits, told the Journal. ”That remedy must include not only meaningful monetary compensation, but a pathway to remain in the country.”

Most everybody has heard of Roe vs. Wade. I guess you would have to have been born in a cave not to be familiar with it. However does anyone remember what things were like before the landmark case? Every state had different laws regarding the abortion issue. In many states it was illegal , unless it was a case of a life threatening issue. In these cases young women saddled with an unwanted pregnancy sought out the services of back alley hacks or if left no other option used their primitive devices like coat hangers. Many of these young ladies ended up bleeding out in back alleys. Part of the problem back before the Supreme Court case, was our society. Women who became pregnant out of wedlock were ostracized. Times have changed now, and there are more options available to these expectant mothers. Education can play a major part in the choice being made. Abortion is not the only option. But I believe it should still be an option, just with some tighter rules in place. Third term abortions are inherently dangerous and should only be contemplated in the cases of life or death matters. Most women know whether or not they want the baby by the beginning of their second trimester, so this obviates an abortion much later than that. While Roe Vs Wade was a landmark decision, it could have been handled in a much better manner. There are also many people who feel that the Supreme Court had no legal right to even enter in the matter at all. So after several decades we still find ourselves dealing with an issue that could have been solved much earlier.

Our politicians want to spend trillions of dollars on the environment, which will essentially bankrupt our country. You tell me which other countries in this world are doing the same thing? Does anybody understand that we live in a closed system? If our neighbors are polluting the environment we have accomplished nothing. China and Russia the two biggest polluters in the world did not show up to environmental meeting that was just held. That shows you how seriously our enemies are taking the go green movement. If our country is destroyed by this movement, what have we accomplished?

11/12/2021 2:45 AM

So the AMA went Woke. Does anybody think all this nonsense will continue once we are a socialist/communist country? It is only a tool to divide the country. Ask yourself if woke is part of China. Russia or Venezuela culture? Do you think the dictatorships of those countries would tolerate that crap?

11/12/2021 10:36 AM

There is too much temptation, just at look the clothes people are wearing. Divorce is more acceptable today. People are having more affairs. Adultery is much more prevalent. People also expect immediate gratification. It is also common for people to have sex on their first date. This tends to cheapen the commitments involved in long term relationships.

11/15/2021 2:00 AM

South American and Central American countries are emptying their jails and prisons and are letting the go free as long as they continue on to the United States through Mexico. This is just a small portion of the people that are coming into our country free to go anywhere they please. Gang members and drug cartel members are also coming unfettered into our country. Criminals by nature are not interested in working a 9 to 5 job or working in the fields or doing manual labor, that is why they went into a life of crime. Do the democrats think that they are even interested in voting. So ask yourself what purpose are they serving? The answer is nothing, unless you count increasing crime in the U.S. or spreading Covid-19 throughout our country. Maybe that is the reason, to keep the pandemic going in the country. So politicians are keeping their power by keeping lockdowns in place and big pharma is getting richer on vaccines. Vaccination numbers are dropping off, so that is why we are forcing mandates on everyone, so we can keep the money coming in. The original vaccine prices were mandated by the agreements made with President Trump. How long do you think those prices will be guaranteed? Right now they range around $10 per shot. However the regular price for a vaccination is well over $100 per shot. If we are going to need 2 boosters a year for Pfizer, that is quite a bit of money. If you can’t figure out the reason for something, the answer is follow the money. If money is not involved than it must be either power or sex.

11/15/2021 2:18 AM

If you have been watching the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, you must be asking yourself why we are even trying this individual, when it is a clear case of self defense? What you need to do is to stop and think of what has happened in the last 6 years or so. Try and think of all of the shenanigans that have been going on and ask yourself who has been getting prosecuted. Can you name one Democrat or Liberal who has been tried and and convicted of any crime? There has been a few, mainly because they just couldn’t cover it up, one being Jeffrey Epstein. You have Joe Biden being accused of rape and sexual assault during the campaign, and the Hunter Biden Laptop computer full of criminal activities. Has there been any convictions meted out? What about the Hilary Clinton emails? Crickets. What about all the riots involving ANTIFA and BLM in 2020? More crickets. President Trump was impeached twice, President Obama was guilty of more series infractions and did not get impeached once. President Biden has been culpable in many criminal actions in his term so far and there has been no word of impeachment. So back to Rittenhouse, why is he being tried in court? The answer is he tried to stop ANTIFA and BLM from rioting and destroying public property. How many cops were assaulted and killed last year in these riots and no convictions? This double standard has to stop.

11/15/2021 2:54 AM

Nobody can deny that we have a homeless problem in America, especially among our veterans. So you tell me why we are bending over backwards to give everything imaginable to the illegal aliens coming across our borders. Which includes up to $450,000 per family member if they were separated during the Trump presidency. These people came into our country illegally and unbidden. The immigrants entering into our country in the 1880s to the 1910s did not receive any handouts, they had to work to make their fortune. They also were not expecting any handouts, either. If I move to another country, do you think that country is going to give me handouts? Of course not. I would be expected to pay my way. Besides these people are not being vetted or checked for covid or are being vaccinated. If I leave the country and come back in, I have to prove that I have been vaccinated or are covid negative. Besides we cannot afford all these giveaways. Our people need to come first.p

11/15/2021 3:41 PM

I am sure that you have heard of the old saying ” sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” I just heard at the very end of the Rittenhouse trial the judge is allowing the argument that he provoked the attacks. Why did the judge wait till they were making their closing statements to do this? Did he get pressure by the left to level the playing field? So what did Rittenhouse do to provoke the attacks? Did he say nasty things about their heritage or their mother’s? Are we that sensitive and weak and lacking in self control that we have to lash out with physical violence if someone says something we don’t like?

11/17/2021 5:00 PM

These quotes are from the book entitled THE ROOSEVELT MYTH by John T. FLYNN. “The welfare state cannot work under a democratic government because it must have a dictator to enforce its harsh policies. The welfare state cannot operate without the police state….To a degree people could be subjugated to these massive controls and exacting by the police authority of the absolute state, but one other weapon was also essential and that was fear.” This was written in 1948. I mentioned in an earlier posting that I thought that ANTIFA was acting like the brownshirts for the Democratic Party, now after what I have been hearing about the actions of the FBI, I believe that the the Democratic party now has their Gestapo. They are attacking the basic tenets of our society, the family structure. Parents are being likened to terrorists. Children are being taught mind altering crap. They are following Hitkers play book on taking control of a country. Children are being taught to report on their parents. We need to stop this shit.

12/1/2021 9:52 PM

I am all for self determination. A woman should have the right to make decisions regarding her own body. For instance in the case of vaccines. But at what point does a pregnancy become a matter of two lives, not one. Does the woman still have the right of self determination? When does the infant have rights? Too bad God did not give us an ownership manual. I guess he did, most major monotheistic religions have a Bible or like volume that does exactly that. Birth control methods are readily available, for men, condoms and for women, the pill and other methods. Besides we should not be using abortion as a form of birth control. If you are old enough to have sex, you are old enough to know how to prevent a pregnancy. I know no method is 100% effective. So right now we have Roe vs Wade. Which in my understanding was a gross overreach for the federal government. But at the time it was probably necessary, because there were simply too many women dying in street alleys. But that was over 40 years ago. We no longer have the stigma attached to pregnancies that are out of wedlock. There are other alternatives to abortion that won’t mean that your life is going to be destroyed. Adoption is certainly an option. Nowhere in our laws are they saying that abortions that are medically necessary or for cases of rape or incest are illegal. Even if Roe vs Wade is reversed it does not mean that abortions will be illegal. It just mean that it is now up to the states to make that determination. Now that our 50 states are used to having abortion being practiced within their borders, I don’t think that they will make it illegal. They will just tighten up the laws a little. Besides there is always California and New York. You now that these states will always have abortion. The argument that minorities are being discriminated against by these laws is in effect racist. They are giving far too little credit to them. So instead of being divisive be proactive and let us work together to come up with better legislation regarding abortions.

It has been a little while since I plugged my blog. It is called Common Sense and Ramblings in America. the address is common-sense-in-america.com. I had to do it this way because of Thomas Paine’s much more popular “Common Sense”. For those new to my blog I have close to 400 hundred postings on it. I have my postings all broken up under categories. There is pretty much something for anyone. Warning alert, it is a conservative leaning blog. Though I do my utmost to be unbiased in my postings. I do my best to update many of my major postings. There is one category that is strictly for Covid and medical subjects. I have just posted a new article on covid variants. https://common-sense-in-america.com/…/the-skinny-on…/ I have been posting article for over a year and half now. For those who like history there are multiple historical articles as well as many on our presidents. Of course I sped most of my time writing articles on current events. While I write a lot in my own words, I do a lot of copy and paste. I do give credit to the original authors and do not make any money on this blog, so I feel justified in utilizing this format. I am not here to re-invent the wheel. What I am trying to do is to act as a clearing house for news. I also do my best to wade through the crap and post what is accurate and is as humanly possible to be unbiased. When I write these articles I allow the data to lead the path of my articles. There has been many times that the endings of my articles are different than what I expected. I hope you find the articles entertaining and helpful.

I know under President Trump we were a net exporter of Oil. I however, don’t believe that we should have been exporting the oil. We should just hold on to it. Because eventually the oil in the middle east and Russia will eventually shrink to much smaller amounts. That would place the US in the cat bird seat, basically a position of great power and independence.

12/7/2021 12:05 PM

We know that Biden will make the wrong decision in regards to the Ukraine. I think Tucker Carlson was way off base when he said that we should stay out of that fight. He obviously doesn’t know European history and Russia very well. The Ukraine acts as a barrier from Russia to the rest of Eastern Europe. By Russia controlling the Ukraine, it gives them a much greater access to the Black Sea and to all of the natural resources that are in the Ukraine. We need to embrace the Ukraine into NATO. It is better to have them as a friend then as an enemy. Because if comes down to our having to invade Russia, that gives us a greater pool to draw military personnel from and it also means less territory we have to cross and fight through to get to the heartland of Russia. General Patton was right, it will only be a matter of time before we need to go into Russia and give them a good old fashioned ass whooping.

12/8/2021 8:37 AM

I am not against using the oil for our citizens, just not for the rest of the world. We don’t know what the rest of the world will be like in the future. I am old enough to have experienced the oil embargoes in the 70s. I don’t relish living through that again. China is doing its best to take over the world through its belt and road initiative. Once we are no longer the big dog, support for us may start to dry up and we may find ourselves odd man out. It would be nice if we had enough resources to keep our country going.

12/10/2021 9:07 AM

Why is there such a push for abortions? The first thing is if you don’t want a baby, take steps to prevent it, through either abstinence, or birth control. If you do get pregnant what about adoption? Why is the death of an innocent infant the first choice? I am not talking about incest or rape or medical necessity, I am talking about a normal pregnancy. I know I will probably take heat, but we are talking about a human life, we are not talking about a lab animal.

12/11/2021

I am mot for college tuition foregiveness. Nobody forced these people to get worthless degrees in gender studies and social services and other feel good degrees. I have three degrees and I paid them all off. Did I go to ivy league colleges, no I did not? I went to community colleges and state colleges. Man up and take responsibility for your own bills. Should loan agencies be making a killing off of college tuitions? The answer is of course no. Harvard has billions of dollars of money squirreled away. They could easily go a decade without charging any tuitions. So why don’t they?

12/15/2021 10:23 PM

The Democrats are still trying to discredit Trump so that he can’t run in 2024. If they are successful do they think that they can beat DeSantis or even Noem? They have nobody that is a solid front runner. But if they cheat like they did in 2020, it doesn’t really matter, a dead person could run and win.

12/17/2021 1:22 AM

Whether it is Trump or DeSantis who is our next president in 2024, one thing is for certain the Republicans will have both Houses, unless that is the sky has fallen chicken little and the Democrats have destroyed our Republic and they still are in power. But what is certain, the president can’t rely on executive orders to get what he wants. Congress is going to have to push bills through to restore our country to the Trump years of prosperity and border security. It was just too easy for Biden to undue all of his good work.

12/17/2021 11:19 AM

I remember when Bill Gates was richest man in the world, when he was worth just a smidge over 100 Billion dollars. Now there are 10 people who are worth more than a 100 billion and the richest now tops out at over 240 Billion. How did all these men become so rich? This occurred in just the last year or so. So obviously COVID was good for somebody.

Message sent to Governor Abbott:

Border Wall—- I have a suggestion. I am sure it would be easy for you to. Figure out what percentage of the federal budget Texas pays. Tell the federal government that that percentage of the supplies for the wall sitting unused is legally yours. The materials was paid by tax payers dollars, so the material sitting there is ours. They can’t stop you from taking your percentage, I am sure that the rest of the governors that do not share the Mexico border would also be willing to donate their shares of the stockpile sitting there. Contact the Supreme Court on this. I am sure that I am right on this matter.

In 1744 Muhammad Ibn Saud became the Iman if the first Saudi state. The Brethren of Purity made of young Bedoiuns studied true Islam and prepared for war. They were hostile to modernization of any kind. They destroyed much of the religious and historical heritage of the current Saudi Arabia. This Jihad is going strong today. My question is if they are against anything modern, why are they using modern weapons? This seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Only in California, can they bankrupt the Marijuana Industry. The legal marijuana industry in California is allegedly “collapsing” amid the state’s regulatory regime. In a letter to California Governor Gavin Newsom, State Senate President pro Tempore Toni Atkins, and State Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, a group of cannabis industry leaders wrote that “we have been pushed to a breaking point” because of the regulatory system put in place after voters in the state passed Proposition 64, which decriminalized marijuana use and cultivation for adults over the age of 21.“Prop 64 was not passed simply to raise tax revenue, but to end the illicit market, protect public health and safety, and create an accountable legal industry,” the leaders wrote. “Yet today, four years after the start of legal sales, our industry is collapsing, and our global leadership and legacy is at the brink of disappearing forever.” I think we need to fire every politician in California, at all levels and start all over again. Just do a clean sweep. This state is so screwed up, I don’t see how it is going to turn things around. New York, Oregon, New Jersey and Washington are not much behind.

In many of the radical Muslim countries, their is a high unemployment rate among young adults. A vast majority of their schools are religious in nature. While it’s good to learn about your religion, there are only so many jobs in that field. Maybe they should have more technical schools, where they can learn more marketable skills. Unless it is intentional so that they have a vast pool of unhappy and unemployed young people for their jihads and other radical movements. I remember seeing news clips of all the protesters. I always wondered how do they have time to do all this protesting? Well it is because their unemployment rates are over 50%. Am I off base here?

While I don’t totally understand the two manslaughter charges for Potter, she definitely was guilty of gross negligence in the shooting. I don’t care if she did cry why testifying. Besides I believed Rittenhouse when he broke down, her tears were not real. She was upset because she knew she was going to be found guilty. Besides who can’t tell the difference between a taser and a pistol when you hold it. First of all police officer are specially trained to use the two of them. They always have them located on a certain side of their belt and they are different colors to make them easier to differentiate them apart. She was guilty of arrogance, for one thing. He was not armed and was not an immediate threat to her. She had plenty of time to make sure that it was a taser and not a gun that she was holding. Maybe the police will do a better job in training their officers in the use of tasers and have compulsory refresher classes every year to keep their skills and familiarity with their weapons current. I know she has twenty years of experience. But years of experience doesn’t always correlate with competency. Take for instance our government, between Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell and Biden, you have 160 years of experience, does that mean they know what they are doing?

Don’t forget death taxes. If we are going to pay such a large portion of salaries in taxes we should have a much bigger say in what it is spent on. For one thing I don’t appreciate giving money to countries that hate us, I don’t want to give money to illegal aliens, I sure as hell don’t like spending money on gender studies. What really pisses me off is that I not only pay tax dollars for the federal parks, I have to pay admission, besides. What the hell am I paying for in my taxes? I also think we are wasting money on our police. Now just wait and hear me out. It is not their fault. They only have time to work on rape and murder cases. My vehicles have been broken into 5 times plus damage being done two more times in failed attempts at theft. I was basically told that I was filing a police report for insurance purposes only. Frankly if I get killed, I could care less about the killer.

After reading the Victor Davis Hanson book, “Ripples of Battle,” I have come to a conclusion about the war in the Pacific during WWII. I think that the estimate of a million American casualties for the invasion of Japan is way too low. The Japanese between combatants and non combatants lost close to 200,000, while we had 49,000 casualties, including 12,000 deaths. When you compare the size of Okinawa to Japan itself, there is no comparison. You also have to know that they would have defended their homeland more ferociously, it was after all, where their emperor lived. Now you can ask the question, did good old Harry do the right thing in ordering the atom bomb to be dropped on Japan? The answer is a resounding yes, it not only saved American lives it also in fact saved Japanese lives as well. The total casualties for both bombs combined was 199,000 right around what was lost in Okinawa. I have already stated that an order of magnitude greater would have been lost in defending their mainland. So hopefully this brief monologue will help you understand the decision that was made by Truman.

This article was written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who’s in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspective… My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us! I’m sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to “fix” the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook’s, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we’ve become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don’t give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, “An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity.” Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I’ve ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let’s just say I didn’t have the popular opinion, but I digress. Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they’ve never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn’t live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn’t see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don’t know what it’s like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don’t have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it’s spreading like a plague.”

Just when I thought that I have heard of everything. Now the IRS wants criminals to declare their illegal income, do they also get to declare their expenses? Also now that they are filing illegal income, how is it listed? does A. stand for armed robbery? Could the judicial system use this information against them in the court of law or is it protected information? What an absolute cluster F–K.

‘Ron Will Never Recover From This’: Latest Leftist DeSantis ‘Scandal’ Over Family Photos Gets Mercilessly Mocked.” “After posting two week old photos while Ron DeSantis was MIA, we have now discovered that DeSantis has been recycling the same family shoot photos for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. DeSantis is a phony,” Patriot Takes wrote in a follow-up tweet. This is what the left has to worry about, Damn him all to hell. His wife has cancer and he has other things to worry about than getting updated photos for the holidays. His wife is probably not in the mood right now to get all made up for the photos to begin with. I am sure she is receiving chemo or some form of radiation treatment right now and her hair has probably started to thin out. Some people can be such assholes.

Stop the testing for COVID-19 already! Everybody is going to get infected with Omicron, stop the f–king mask mandates and let it run its course. The virus has mutated to the severity of the common cold or even less. They are just using it as a tool to control us and to make more money on the f–king vaccines. I have had three of the damn vaccines and I am not going to get a fourth one. Every time you get one, the spike protein stays in your system from 6 to 12 months. Pfizer made 30 Billion last year. They have made enough money already. The taxpayers are paying for these “free” vaccines and “free” tests. I am tired of the f–king masks already. I have to wear it my entire 12 hour shift at work. This is insane. They don’t do a damn thing to stop the virus. While handwashing is good, COVID is airborne it doesn’t spread from incidental contact. Oral and nasal hygiene is a hell of a lot better. I have been pushing the use of a Vicks mist system to cleanse your oral pharyngeal tract if you suspect having bee exposed to a positive patient. Also there is no asymptomatic transmission. You also can’t get infected twice for COVID. Tests can’t differentiate from the flu and COVID. That is why nobody got the Flu last year. COVID simply pays more. I am getting all, this information from Dr. Peter McCollough and Dr. Robert Malone, two highly regarded experts in the field. Sorry, but I have been long over due for a serious rant.

I just started reading the book Endgame by Vernon Coleman. If you are concerned with what is happening in our country and world it is a must read.

1/9/2022 7:18 AM

I don’t usually discuss the books I read, because who frankly cares what I read, besides myself and my wife. My wife mainly because she has to put up with the ever growing number of bookcases that are spreading throughout our house. LOL But this book is another one I feel that I should share with you, especially if you are interested in our environment. This book is entitled “The Mythology Of Global Warming: Climate Change Fiction vs. Scientific Facts” by Bruce C. Bunker. The book is another eye opener, just like the previous one I mentioned. He discusses each of the green energy sources and how they effect our lives. For one I found the section on ethanol to be particularly interesting. It takes more fuel than it produces to make. Between the farming of the corn and the processing it and so on. It is so expensive that the government has to subsidize it. The farmers love it, because they get to sell the corn for a lot more money. No new land was purchased for the corn, the farmers just reduced the rest of their crops to make room for more corn. So this drove up the cost of feed for our cattle, pigs and chickens, which translates into more money at the grocery store for our meat products. This also affected the price of wheat and corn being grown for oral consumption, because the price up for our loaves of bread and corn and corn based products went up as well. There are so many examples like this in the book, I could go on and on. You really have to read it.

CDC Director Can’t Say How Many Of 836,000 Deaths Are ‘From COVID’ And How Many Are ‘With COVID’ The question should be asked would the person have died at that time if they did not have COVID? In most cases the answer would be no. It is a slippery slope I know. But unless you were involved in in an MVA or shot in the head or stabbed or something like that, the actual cause of death is pretty hard when it comes to COVID. It causes a lot of bad things to happen to the body. Cytokine storm and thrombosis. These two are organ killers for sure.

Biden, get with the program, regular masks don’t work. Now vaccines maybe are not helping much either, just shut the fuck up and let us live. Within one month this will be over. The way Omicron is spreading the world will reach Herd Immunity. My wife and I have been vaccinated and wear masks in public, we both got it. Just stop the nonsense, we will get through this.

For all this transgender shit out there. You either born with two XX chromosomes or a XY chromosome. Of course you can have a few genetic defects with multiple chromosomes, but I am talking about the vast majority of us. So no matter how much wishful thinking you do, you can’t currently change that. Hormone therapy can change your muscle density if done early enough and you can have surgery, but you will always still have those chromosomes. That makes you a male and a female, at least that is what society has decided to call each of us. So stop the bullshit, embrace what you are born with and make the best of it. I will never be a world class sprinter or a ballet dancer, you know what I am OK with that. My name is Randy and not Randi. I like being a guy, and I am sure there are a lot of people out there that like being a girl as well. There are some things you just can’t change.

It is simple if you want to stop Putin dead in his tracks with Ukraine, admit them as a full member to NATO. Show him that we mean business. He does not want World War Three. It will also allow him to save face. Just politely tell him Ukraine is off the table.

1/22/2022 4:07 PM

Why is the FAA having kittens now about 5G? Were they sleeping the last 5 years or so, when it was in development? The military tried to get the US to us a non standard band width for it, so we would not be compatible with the rest of the world. So what the hell is the problem now? If my cell phone can take down a $100 million commercial super jet, what is that saying about their security?

A Posting to Fox News

Why is our government ignoring the obvious solution to the Ukraine situation? Make them a full member of NATO. It would drive Putin crazy, and it would stop him in his tracks. We could have done this for Hong Kong as well. Show the world that we mean business. We will protect the more vulnerable countries from Communism. I think Tucker was wrong when he asked why we should fight over Ukraine. Once Putin gets Ukraine back, what next Poland? We made some very bad decisions post WWII, and it caused us two more wars, not to mention a very costly cold war.

Do you think private owners should be able to obtain better specimens of dinosaur skeletons than museums? I think this is unfair and is stealing our heritage. I know that private collectors have over the years have amassed amazing collections, and that museums can only afford to house and show case so much. But should the private collections be superior to those on public display? Should they have to allow the public to see their collections? Or is this too much?

Sperm whales used to get to 80 feet or more in length, they were almost driven to extinction, and we subsequently lost the best of the gene pool. They have never quite recovered. The same goes for the great white. Thanks to Peter Benchley’s Jaws book and movie, it became open season on great whites. They are slowly recovering and there are reported sightings of female specimens over 20 feet in length and males well over 18 feet in length. We truly don’t know what the upper limit is.

About this Lia Thomas transgender Bullshit, and it is Bullshit, has gotten out of hand. First of all if you were born with female parts you should compete in female sports, unless it is designed as a co-ed sport, and if you are born with male parts you should compete in male sports or co-ed sports. So lets examine this locker room shit a little. They say he is exposing his male parts. How many people take showers with clothes on? How many people wear underwear under their swim suits, especially competitive swimmers, who are trying to be as streamlined as possible? Are the girls covering up their female parts when they take a shower? I think not. Are all 30 odd females totally innocent, who knows. But I know human nature. You have 30 absolutely amazing young healthy bodies in a locker room, I am sure a few are acting out a little. I frankly don’t care and I am not condemning them in any fashion if they are. If the schools really wanted to protect everyone they would have the “male” athletes go into the locker rooms a few minutes earlier and get ready. That solves that problem. The second problem males competing against females. If the guy really wanted to be a female, and wanted to compete on an even field, he needs to go through years of hormone treatments and get surgically altered, end of story. All Lia Thomas is doing is getting a free peep show in the locker rooms and is racking up records and wins against woman competitors. If he was that great of an athlete he should be competing against male athletes.

Multiverse theory was created by people who can’t come up with a logical reason for how our universe came about and functions. Nobody truly knows what is inside of a black hole for obvious reasons, nor are we likely to ever find out. Einstein was incredibly intelligent, much more than myself, but he is not perfect nor is he infallible. If you have to create multiple universes to answer the question of the mass of matter, and other mysteries of the universe then I frankly believe you are in error. That is like saying that you can only explain events that you can’t explain are due to magic.

“Ten billion COVID vaccinations: world hits new milestoneMore than ten billion doses have gone into arms in a remarkably short period of time — but scientists warn that woeful inequities in access remain. Many nations began rolling out vaccines in late 2020 and early 2021. Since then, more than 60% of the world’s population — 4.8 billion people — is at least partially vaccinated with one of the more than 20 approved COVID-19 vaccines. “The world has never seen such rapid scale-up of a new life-saving technology,” says Amanda Glassman, with the Center for Global Development. But — as researchers warned last year when the first one billion doses had been administered — there are still huge inequities in access, with just 5.5% of people in low-income nations having received 2 doses.” Why are we still wearing masks and sheltering in place in many countries? The answer is, there is little to no money in third world countries.LikeCommentShare

The thing is neither do cloth masks, the only masks that work are N95 and N99 masks. But even with these you have to fit and wear them properly. Besides I firmly believe that you can get covid through any mucous membranes, including your eyes. So where does it end? Now that we are being infected with a very mild albeit nagging variant, Omicron, just stop the shit and let it run its course. More people have died from the vaccines than have died from Omicron. I have received three Pfizer vaccines and I still got Omicron. Which has dragged on for close to a month now. Just a mild cough and a little tightness in the chest when I exert myself more than usual.
