I originally started writing my first book, “The Making and Life of a Blogger: A Truly Never-Ending Story,” to simply relive the highlights of my life. It grew into a family project with the help of my sister, an aunt and a cousin thrown in for good measure. Nobody gives death much thought when they are young. You think you will live forever. I am 58 years old at the writing of this book. I have seen my mother, father, a stepfather and two brothers pass away. It is now just my sister and I left from our immediate family. My sister just lost here husband as well. Suddenly the thought of death has become a reality and the fear of disappearing into oblivion is weighing very heavily on me. Everybody wants to make a mark in life and to do something that will be remembered long after they die. Unfortunately, the vast majority of us do not realize those dreams and simply waste away into obscurity.

While writing the first book, I started realizing that I would not be able to include all of the things I wanted in just one book. So that realization brings me to this project. This volume will serve as a companion to my first book. However, I will write it in such a manner that it will also be able to stand alone on its own merits.
