Voter Fraud with Mail-In Ballots, Fact or Fiction?

In a previous article, “Why is the Left In Love With Impeachment? Is William Barr Next? I discussed evidence of political corruption, in particular during campaigning and voting at the local level. This article will focus on the issue of mail-in ballots. As a single individual I have lived in the city of Las Vegas over 18 years, I have lived in 5 different residences during this time. Each time I moved, I was in a different voting district. This doesn’t take into account all the other times I moved as an adult wile I lived in Florida. Yes I have moved a lot, probably more than most people. But the fact remains, our country and culture are a mobile one. People relocate all the time for work, family and simply because they want to live in a new town or state. There is nothing wrong with that. As free Americans it is our given right to do so. However, there is a problem with this movement, and that is voting registration. Because our country is a representative form of government, we vote for individuals that supposedly share our beliefs and therefore will vote for legislation that will have our best interest at heart. Our voting is based on population, that is why we have federal census taken every 10 years to track population densities and demographics. Every 10 years the voting districts are changed depending on these population changes. We vote in districts, we vote for politicians in these districts, we also vote in Democratic and Republican primary races. We do all these things To keep people from coming in from other districts and the opposing party and messing with our votes. Until now, the majority of voting has been done in person. When you go into the voting office your name is checked off the list when you vote, so you can’t go back in and vote a second time under the same name. The system works pretty good. It would work better if we had verification of each individual with an photo ID. You could still conceivably vote in another district using another registered person’s name, someone you know won’t be voting. There is a special voting process for absentee voters, military residents who are currently stationed overseas, and for home bound invalids that can’t go into vote. These individuals receive ballots sent to there residence upon request. However, it has recently been discovered that if there are errors made in these hand filled ballots they are not counted and simply destroyed. What is to stop people from simply choosing to dispose of one parties ballots? Because the numbers of these absentee ballots has been traditionally small, the chance of this having any effect on the election process has been negligible.

Now is where the fun starts. We have people like myself that may or may not be registered in several districts, because there is no federal database monitoring voters movements from state to state and quite possibly even local movements in individual states. This needs to stop. We need voting reform. We need a federal database, where every individual has an photo ID with a unique ID number. So whenever you relocate to a different voting district it is changed not only at the local level, it is changed at the federal level. People may say why is this necessary? The answer is for a few reasons. With our mobile culture, it is not uncommon for most house or apartments our condos to have had several people living in them at some point in time. Before the advent of cell phone technology, every time you moved you received a new phone number for your landline. How many times have you received wrong number calls for old users of that same number. Now most people use the same number on there cell phone no matter how many times they move, unless they change services. But we still receive mail sent to our address meant for previous residents. It happens all the time. I have even received absentee ballots sent to my house. Which I promptly shredded. This possibly happened because of poor communication between the districts. Our when the individual moved, he no longer needed absentee ballots and simply did not notify the old voting district of this change. I could have conceivably filled it out and mailed it in. Now that person voted twice, one time with my candidates and one time with his candidates. I am sure this has happened in the past, but like I said probably in numbers too small to really matter. But do they matter? For presidential elections probably not, millions of people vote for these candidates. But in local voting, candidates are chosen by much smaller margins. They may win by 10 or more votes.

The second problem arises now, and this is a big one. Enter the pandemic. Everything is in lock down. The democrats/ Liberals want everybody to vote by mail in ballots. These will not like he absentee ballots and be mailed by requests. They will be mailed to everybody that is on these voting lists. These lists, where one person may be on several of them. Some people on these lists may even be dead. So what happens with all these unused ballots? Do they get thrown out? Or are they completed and mailed in? There are no ID numbers or photo IDs, No federal database being updated each time a vote is entered. Boy, can you see a problem here? According to the media, there is no problem, just a lot of rantings by conspiracy nuts. Well now, who owns the media? The answer is the left. So can we trust these assertions. As a side note, can we even trust the polls being run now? Many of them are being run by news papers and news services also controlled by the liberals.

There is a third problem. Have you ever asked why the Democrats want to give money to illegal aliens? These illegal aliens are being given drivers licenses in Sanctuary states. They are allowing anybody with a divers license to vote. California has a very high density of illegal aliens and immigrants. They are staunch Democrats because of all the money being given to them by these Democrats. They want to keep these Liberal politicians in office, because of this. That is why AOC wins so easily, with over 80% of the popular vote. Why do you think the Republicans lost California. Ronald Reagan was a Republican governor of California. California was in fact a Republican stronghold from 1952 until 1992. Basically the Democrats have stolen this state from the Republicans because of these practices. New York State was not always Democratic either. Until 1988 they were mostly Republican. New York has a high number of illegals and immigrants. The Democrats have been very busy building up there voting base, while the Republicans have been slumbering.

Back 30 or more years it really didn’t matter which party won the Presidency or congress, both parties were pretty close in there platforms. However this single minded cohesiveness has changed throughout the history of the two parties. In the middle of the 1800’s The Democratic Party was the Slave party, the Secessionist party, and in the early 1900’s the party of the Jim Crow Laws, also the Party of separate but equal doctrine and Literacy tests for black voters. While the Republican party was for the Union, they were abolitionists and for racial equality. They have been at odds in the past, now they are at odds in the present. The Democratic party is now almost indistinguishable from the Socialist Party. The Democrats have almost totally sewn up the black vote. How can that be, you ask, welfare and poverty is the answer. While the Republic party is still the party of the working people and small businesses.

If we want to keep our country safe for our future generations we have to reform the voting system. We have to continue with voting in person and not utilize mass mail-in voting. If people can protest they can vote in person. Stop listening to all the histrionics by the liberal media, do what is right, be strong, stick up for your rights and don’t give in to peer pressure. Follow your heart.

I just came across this posting on Facebook, I thought it important to add a real life current example of active voter fraud, in order to give more impact to this posting.

Another example of mail fraud.

Between 2012 and 2018, 28.3 million mail-in ballots remain unaccounted for, according to data from the federal Election Assistance Commission. The missing ballots amount to nearly one in five of all absentee ballots and ballots mailed to voters residing in states that do elections exclusively by mail.

States and local authorities simply have no idea what happened to these ballots since they were mailed – and the figure of 28 million missing ballots is likely even higher because some areas in the country, notably Chicago, did not respond to the federal agency’s survey questions. This figure does not include ballots that were spoiled, undeliverable, or came back for any reason.

Although there is no evidence that the millions of missing ballots were used fraudulently, the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which compiled the public data provided from the Election Assistance Commission, says that the sheer volume of them raises serious doubts about election security.

These questions are particularly relevant as the COVID-19 pandemic is forcing states across the country to rapidly expand vote-by-mail operations in an election year. Democratic Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Ron Wyden have proposed the Natural Disaster and Emergency Ballot Act of 2020, a bill that would allow every eligible voter the opportunity to vote by mail, regardless of state laws governing mail-in ballots.

A significant increase in mail-in voting this fall could greatly incentivize “ballot harvesting,” where third parties collect mail-in ballots on behalf of voters and deliver them to election officials. There’s long been a consensus that such a practice incentivizes fraud, and ballot harvesting is illegal in most of the country. Public debate over the issue has intensified in recent years after a GOP operative in North Carolina was indicted for crimes related to ballot harvesting in 2018.

That same election cycle California legalized ballot harvesting, and observers say the practice played a key role in ousting several Republican congressmen in Orange County in 2018, a longstanding GOP stronghold in a state that has become very liberal in recent decades.

The fact that millions of unused mail-in ballots are floating around in every election cycle “is not a secret type data here – it’s sitting there on the Internet, and you’re paying for the server cost,” notes Logan Churchwell, a spokesman for PILF. “So what do people that really focus on the election process do about that? They go into ballot harvesting. If there’s so many ballots out there in the wind unaccounted for by election officials, surely some manpower could be dedicated to go bring them in. And that’s another part of the system where you have weaknesses and risk.”

To illustrate the risk, Churchwell notes that in 2016 Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by garnering over 2.8 million more votes than Donald Trump. But nearly 6 million unaccounted mail-in ballots were never counted in 2016, more than twice her margin in the popular vote. The potential to affect elections by chasing down unused mail-in ballots and make sure they get counted – using methods that may or may not be legal – is great.

There’s little doubt that as the number of mail-in ballots increases, so does fraud. A 2012 report in The New York Times noted that voter fraud involving mail-in ballots “is vastly more prevalent than the in-person voting fraud that has attracted far more attention, election administrators say. In Florida, absentee-ballot scandals seem to arrive like clockwork around election time.” According to a Wall Street Journal report on voter exploitation in Hispanic communities in Texas, mail-in ballots have “spawned a mini-industry of consultants who get out the absentee vote, sometimes using questionable techniques.” Poor, elderly, and minority communities are most likely to be preyed upon by so-called ballot “brokers.”

Concerns about fraud in mail-in ballots were serious enough that a 2008 report produced by the CalTech/MIT Voting Technology Project recommended that states “restrict or abolish on-demand absentee voting in favor of in-person early voting.”

“The convenience that on-demand absentees produces is bought at a significant cost to the real and perceived integrity of the voting process,” the report added. “On the face of it, early voting can provide nearly equal convenience with significantly greater controls against fraud and coercion.” Similarly, another academic study done in 2008 from Reed College flagged various concerns related to absentee voting and conceded there is a “great deal of literature on turnout” but when it comes to mail-in ballots there is “a dearth of research on campaign effects, election costs, ballot quality, and the risk of fraud.”

Despite these concerns, five states – Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, and Hawaii – now do all elections exclusively by mail. Supporters point to smooth elections in these states as proof that it works. But PILF obtained voter data from Oregon, the first state to adopt voting by mail exclusively, for the 2012 and 2018 elections and checked it against census data. Of the 7 million ballots the state sent out in those two elections, some 871,000 ballots are totally unaccounted for.

Losing only one of eight ballots, as opposed to the national average of one in five, may be the result of Oregon having a more accurate listing of voters’ addresses than many other states, but that’s still a very high percentage of missing ballots, and Oregon would not reveal its data for the 2014 and 2016 elections for reasons the state would not disclose.

Regardless, U.S. Census data confirms that 11% of Americans move every year, and voters on the lower end of the economic scale are especially transient. Without implementing some extensive, and likely problematic, government surveillance program, there’s no way for election administrators to reliably get ballots to tens of millions of Americans every election cycle without a large percentage of ballots going to the wrong address. This problem is compounded by states that mail ballots automatically. (The author of this piece is from Oregon, where ballots with his name on them were sent to his parents’ address for years after he graduated from college and moved out of state — despite repeated contacts with the county clerk telling them he had moved.)

The inherent problems of mail-in voting are being widely ignored, however. Use of mail-in ballots more than doubled from 24.9 million in 2004 to 57.2 million in 2016, and around 40% of U.S. votes are now done by mail. Along with this dramatic increase there have been virtually no new safeguards, scrutiny, or additional research on the risks of vote by mail. If the current pandemic is going to force the issue during a presidential election, proponents of voting by mail may have to address obvious risks that come with proposing that more than 200 million ballots be mailed out this fall.

“I really think the only reason vote-by-mail problems are not getting more attention on a regular basis, is that it’s kind of an embarrassing problem and people just aren’t paying attention,” says Churchwell. “These numbers of missing ballots demonstrate large voter list maintenance failures and security gaps within the broader mail voting process.”
