Things that make you think. You know how the TV show Cops was canceee6lled, and several other shows that portrayed police in a favorable way were also cancelled. Guess what shows have had their seasons delayed till later in November? NCIS, NCIS LA and NCIS New Orleans. These shows are just too popular to cancel. Kind of makes you wonder? If Chris Wallace is not going to have 2 guests up for a discussion so both views can be heard. He should at least keep the one side honest. On his recent show one guest went off on a rant about President Trump’s handling of the Corona virus. She made an obviously false statement, and Wallace did not at least let her know that it was incorrect, if he can’t do that, bring in another guest, so both sides can get there word out. She stated that President Trump did not set up a supply chief to make sure supplies reached all the critical areas. Obviously false, and I am sure Wallace was aware of it. I thought Fox News tried to aspire to higher standards than MSNBC and CNN? It may seem like a small matter, but president Trump is fighting for his political life and ours for that matter, as well.

It’s that time again. Rant time.. I just posted a question to my wife. I know I am so much fun. I asked her that if your enemy told you in advance what their plans were, what does that say about their feelings toward you? I am sure many of you know the answer. I will tell you anuway. It shows a total lack of respect for their enemy or you. That despite knowing their plans in advance, you simply don’t have the skill, tenacity, personnel, wherewithal or the mental capacity to counter their plan. China has done this, with their plans for world domination and the left or Democratic party has done the same thing. They want to destroy our country and turn it in socialist/communist puppet regime of China’s communist party. If you don’t believe me, just follow the actions of many of our political leaders. Many of them have been bought and paid for by China. Even if President Trump wins the election, he will ultimately lose. And there is not a damn thing we can do about it. Hillary Clinton has said so. I have never discussed Michelle Obama before in an article, I usually don’t say anything negative about the first lady past or present. But I am going to make an exception with her. I guess she is so full of herself that she doesn’t observe other people’s interactions when she is out waling her dog. It doesn’t matter who is walking the damn dog, white, black, yellow, brown, male or female, people stop to pet dogs, and most times the person doing the petting just pets the dog and may say a word or two to the person walking the pet,usually just to ask permission and then leaves without really noticing of who is walking the dog. I Have been guilty of doing it. Even now I remember the dog, more than the person walking the animal. And you know what, I am not even a big dog person. It also has not a damn thing to do with racism.

So it is reported that the Chinese have a bigger navy than the US. My question is how many aircraft carriers does China have (2)? The Us has 10 that they classify as true aircraft carriers and 9 more that airplanes and helicopters can be launched off. So, tell me are we counting trawlers and junk boats in our navy now? How can you say that their navy is larger? Can we count our coast guard ships as well? So how many ships does it take to make up an aircraft carrier? They certainly are several times larger than a destroyer. Does that count as well? Are we talking about the destructive power of each ship? How many nuclear submarines do they have? I think the may want to try counting again?

the Filibuster is one reason nothing ever gets done in congress. When I first heard about it in my high school history class, I couldn’t believe they allowed it. A couple of petulant congressman can prevent legislation from being passed even if the majority is for it. While we are at it Riders should be illegal as well in Congress. One idea–one bill, should be the rule. By the time a bill is passed it is no longer recognizable and is so bloated with riders that it now costs many times the original estimate.

You need an ID when you make a purchase with your credit card over a certain limit, not sure what the hell it is, because it is always different. Why shouldn’t you need one to decide who are leaders are going to be? What is more important? I guess credit card fraud is more important than voter fraud. And who trained all these people checking the mail-in ballots to compare signatures? Isn’t that a skill you have to be trained to do?

Agreed, there are a lot of Blood pressure medications out there. You have beta blockers which affect Blood pressure and heart rate alike, ace inhibitors, Angiotensin II receptor blockers, Calcium channel blockers, Alpha blockers, Alpha-2 Receptor Agonists and combination drugs. Losartan is a angiotensin II receptor blocker. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the right mix. It is a crap shoot. Everybody responds differently. Hopefully your doctor is receptive to making adjustments. You should at the very least check your blood pressure daily, until you get used to the medications. Still always a good practice, though.

With proper medical care he might have survived. A knee to the throat is not proper medical care, unless the goal was to kill him from the start. Kind of like saying a person suffering from a syncopal episode was hit by a bus, and saying the syncope killed him. Or that only 6 percent of the deaths were caused by covid only. Well the covid sure as hell pushed that individual with the comorbidities. Sure they would have eventually have died because of those comorbidities, but probably not for many years to come. So are we saying covid is off the hook for those deaths?

So another whistle blower and Book, the Woodward book they are calling it. So, they really are pulling out all the stops. They tried something that happened 2 years ago in France. That fell through, so now they are saying that in March President Trump tried to downplay the coronavirus pandemic. He first shut down all nonessential international travel in the US. That doesn’t sound like a downplay action to me. I also guess I must have missed that with our economy being shut down and basically most of us being in virtual house arrest , about his downplaying the virus. By the way please remind me what we called Donald Trump before he was elected president. Wasn’t it Mr. Trump? I don’t think doctor Trump was ever used. As much as I don’t like Dr. Fauci, he at least stated that President Trump repeated exactly what the medical and scientist were saying about covid-19. He said it was serious, and it would eventually go away. Which it will. The Bubonic plague went away finally, when people cleaned up their acts. Small pox was basically eradicated by a vaccine. Sometimes they simply mutate themselves out of existence. As in Sars. But one thing I know for a fact President Trump never said he was a doctor. So this book is just another BS attempt to discredit president Trumps’s handling of the virus. Maybe the author of the book should go to the beauty parlor with Pelosi.

I have come to the conclusion that Washington DC hates President Trump so much is that they don’t know how to deal with him. With the exception of FDR he is the most transparent president of the last century. And they hid the truth regarding the health of FDR to the country. And when he plays a little close to the vest with information to prevent panic in our country, he is ostracized for it. Do you think president Kennedy should have told everybody in the country how close we came to total nuclear annihilation, while the crisis was occurring? You imagine the level of panic that wold have ensued had they known what was going on behind closed doors in the White House. If president Trump is guilty of anything, is caring too much for this country. When I see how he is treated by the press and many other individuals in Washington DC, it makes me sick. 6) Education – Take control of what people read, listen to and take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion – Remove the belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people.
8)Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the rich with the support of the poor.

The forest fires were totally avoidable. My wife has friends in park management. We have mismanaged our forests for decades. Fires are the natural order of things. Fires keep our forests healthy. It eliminates undergrowth. Some trees need fire and heat to germinate. It also helps kill insect infestations. Pine borrer beetles have been devastating our forests. Leaving behind dead trees everywhere. People love to live in forests. They do the same thing in Nevada. This makes controlled burns difficult. Shipping our helicopters to the middle east, really?!

The solution to our voting problem is very simple instead of having the election on one day have it over 5 days, open up more voting locations, make mask wearing mandatory, have hand sanitizers at every booth and the entrance, and monitor for temperature. I have been watching a lot of retired generals discuss the middle east and how we need to keep a presence over there. I thought once we became self sufficient with energy we would not need to stay there. Since when did it become our job to protect the whole damn world? We are not doing so well over here right now. So billionaire Michael Bloomberg after failing to buy the presidency for himself is trying to buy it for Joe Biden. He is donating 100 million for advertising in Florida. Isn’t there limits to how much an individual can donate for a political campaign? Also there is talk that an impeached President should not have the right to appoint a justice. Does anybody know that impeachment is simply an accusation. I thought we are a country where you are innocent until proven guilty. He was exonerated by the senate, so he is innocent. The charges were BS anyway. Our Supreme Court has become too political. Oh and the argument that we shoukd allow the people to chose, we did already. We elected president Trump as president. We need strict constitutional justices to protect the constitution. If Biden wins and chooses a justice, our constitution will never be the same. Also we can’t let the liberal left use the threat of violence to push their agenda. They keep on closing colleges because it positive covid tests. Instead of following positive tests they should be counting hospitalizations. Most of these college students getting infected are only suffering minor symptoms. Like it or not this is one way to beat it. The more healthy people infected the more people that will be immune. Keep them at the campuses in dorms for 2 weeks, but keep teaching them. In the case of football players have them wear full face shields on their helmets.

Have you noticed that the states seem to be making it overly complicated for mail in ballots? Why do you need to sign the envelope? That is making it easy for hackers to steal signatures. Isn’t it enough to have them sign the ballot? Also they are not counting ballots if you don’t use the privacy envelope, what the hell is that all about? Is it only repub ballots that are being scrutinized this thoroughly?

Like it or not when the constitution was written, most people did not want a strong central government, states have a lot of power. Look at the articles of confederation. In this government the federal government had no power at all.

In the constitution, it states that the president’s term of office is 4 years, not 3 years 8 months or 9 months or even 11 months. It is 4 years. He has the right to make appointments for that whole time. For years we have been complaining that politicians don’t do their jobs. We now have a President who does his job conscientiously. So I am tired of hearing a bunch of complaints against President Trump for actually doing his job. He wants 9 Supreme Court Justices in office so that there can be a fully functioning Supreme Court in case there are problems with the election. Problems I might add that have been created intentionally by the Democratic Party.

On the Martha MacCallum show she had 5 housewives on her show. Three were for Trump 2 were for Biden. The Trumpees stated that the Biden followers were taking down the Trump signs, but the Trump followers were not reciprocating. Trump mail ballots have been found in post office boxes on the side of the streets, just discarded. Not one Biden ballot was found in any of them. The only way this is going to change is if we return the favor. The Trumpees need to pull down the Biden signs and throw the Biden ballots on the side of the street. If this were to happen in large enough numbers , The Democrats would cry foul and end the mail ballots. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

After watching Fox News interview regular people off the street , I have realized how much trouble this country truly is in. It is no wonder after the years of brainwashing that we have experienced. It starts in the elementary school, and goes on through High School. For those fortunate enogh to go to Universities, it continues there as well. Liberal professors lambaste you with Socialistic ideals and activist groups such as BLM and Antifa vie for your limited free time. When you graduate from college you have additional indoctrination to look forward to. Your social media sites and search engines are filtered for content. The news media that used to be vaunted for integrity, lies to us daily and helps to warp our reality. We take for granted that our politicians will lie to us, that is a given. But now medical and scientific experts are lying to us as well. Not even our sports and other entertainment sources are free from this rhetoric. The reason for this is simple. It involves, greed and power. Those that have wealth and power want to keep it and those that don’t have it, want it. The sad thing is that they will do anything to keep or get it, including, lying, stealing and even killing for it. The poor and the middle class just don’t stand a chance.

Only N95 masks are truly effective, I have stated previously in my postings and in my blog, that the only purpose that cloth masks serve is to reduce the force of your cough, sneeze or breath, therefore allowing people to be closer together. The only thing that is effective is immunity, whether it be a result of being previously infected or from a vaccination. You may not like these statements, but they are true. I have been an ICU nurse for almost 10 years, and I have had my fair share of experiences with infectious diseases, so I speak with humility but also experience.

Since when did the left start caring about human lives? There has been countless postings, by the left stating that they hope President Trump dies of covid, How many people said they hoped that those two cops shot while in their car, died? How many black people are killed by other black people every day, including children? Nobody says a word about them. Cops are shot and wounded every day, and nothing is said. But god forbid President Trump leaves the hospital in his limo for a few minutes to show the people of the US that he is healthy, and to thank all the well wishers that have been holding a vigil outside his hospital room. That now he is jeopardizing the lives of the secret service men in the car he is riding in? He is in a separate cubicle surrounded by plexi-glass and is wearing a mask. All of his men are wearing masks as well. It is ludicrous. Besides what about all the the thousands of medical professionals that are exposed daily to covid patients with nothing more than a N95 masks? Where is the concern for them? Since covid has started, I as an ICU nurse I have personally taken care of over a 100 positive covid patients. Where is the concern for my well being? Did I have a choice, not really. So neither did the secret service men. It was an honor for them to do that detail. They knew what he was trying to accomplish by that gesture. So stop criticizing the president for every thing he does.g

Two things about the news today, Dexamethasone or Decadron, while it is a steroid, it does not have all the side effects of prednisone or Solumedrol, it is more specific. It is not causing President Trump to act erratically. I have administered hundreds of doses of Decadron as a Nurse. Second, President Trump is using reverse pyschology on the care act, by stopping negotiations. He is hoping that Pelosi will do anything to make him look bad even approving a bill that she would have refused just a few weeks ago. Sometimes you can use a weakness as a strength.

If you read his plan, the only parts that will work are plagiarized right out of the Trump play book, the rest is from AOC and Bernie and Pelosi. The problem is the non trump stuff, will ruin the country. We are not technologically advanced enough to go totally green. Solar power does not work in the winter months in the northern states, many areas are not windy enough for wind mills. There is not enough dams for hydroelectric power, and many of the places the dams have been built are ruining the environment. Nuclear power has the waste materials that have to bee disposed. However, Canada and France have better nuclear plants than we do. Than you have natural gas, which requires fracking to be effective, which can if not don’t properly ruin the water supply. Tat leaves us with coal and oil. It will cost by best estimates a 100 trillion dollars to make this country green, and we still have a system that is no better than California, with the rolling blackouts, during peak times. You can’t force a square peg in a round hole. we will get there, but not in our life time. We don’t have either the money or the technology to do it now.

What is shameful, during the beginning of our lock down, we had a surplus of food, because our consumption went way down. Farmers burned their crops. We should have shipped it overseas, if we did not need it here. We have two problems, we have enough rain in this world to keep every lake full and every river flowing at full capacity, and we produce enough food to feed everyone on this planet. It is all a matter of distribution. Surplus water in many countries just runs into the oceans. Surplus Food in all the industrialized countries is simply thrown away. The answers are not simple, if they were we would have solved these two problems.

Case in point everybody can agree that John Wilkes Booth was a world class piece of shit. However, he was a world class actor as well, along with his brother Edwin Booth. Thousands of people flocked to see JWB perform in the theater. Are they also guilty of killing Lincoln? Edwin Booth had nothing to do with his brother’s assassination of Lincoln, but he suffered for years afterward. It took over a decade before he started getting his life back. Was that fair? There are a lot of bad people out there. But there are a lot more good people out there as well. We are not guilty because one of our fellow country man committed a crime. Also remember we are innocent until proven guilty in this country. I am against cancel culture, I am against in reparations, I am against in erasing our history and destroying our statutes.
