I am including this brief note because first, I want total transparency and secondly, I want the reader to be aware of the fact that I have used a great deal of material from the internet to write this book. I did this mainly because I am not an expert on most of the subjects that I have covered in it. I also want the reader to know that I am not making any money from this book. The price that is being charged for this book just covers the fees that Amazon charges to publish it. So if I am not making an money from it, you may ask why I am doing it? The answer is the same one I give my blog patrons. I am doing it to help the public get the most accurate information possible on any given subject. In the case of this book, it is mainly our planet and its environment. 

While it is true that the vast majority of the material used in this book was written by other writers, it was collated and crosschecked by me to ensure completeness and accuracy. Where questions have come up regarding the factuality of a particular subject I have included both sides of the argument so that you, the reader can make an informed decision on the matter. In an effort to be as complete as possible, I have covered a great many topics in this book. I hope you have found them to be helpful and informative.

As is the case with any book, the information in it will eventually become outdated. Unfortunately there is not much that I can do about this. It is the nature of the beast. However, I will do my best to keep the material updated in my blog, common-sense-in-america.com.
