Though this book will be a comprehensive study of the economy in the United States, it is by no means a substitute for a degree in economics. It is also not meant to be a textbook on economics. Having said that, I will cover many topics that you might find in a textbook. If you have read any of my books, non-fiction or fiction, you will discover that I like to be thorough when I discuss a topic. For instance, when I decided to write about one of my passions, photography, it took four volumes to cover the topic. I don’t foresee this happening with this topic, though. In part one, I will start with a brief but concise study of the history of our economy. The second part will cover a discussion on the Federal Reserve. In this section, I will do my best to simplify this topic. In part three, I will discuss another confusing subject: our national debt. In this section, I will do my best to dispel many of the misconceptions that have been pervading our society regarding our debt. After reading these two parts, you will discover the pivotal role that the Federal Reserve plays in our country’s debt.
In part four, I will discuss the future of our economy and how we can reverse the damage that the Federal Reserve has done to it. At the beginning of the book, the reader will find a fairly complete section on economic terms. In the appendices, there are several discussions on various key topics in our economy. How the rate of inflation is calculated and how it affects our economy are just a few of these topics.
When I write about a subject, whether it be in one of my blog articles or one of my books, I do the best I can to cover it in a fair and unbiased manner. While our press has, over our country’s history, been far from perfect, it has been possible to find a news service that would be truthful in its narrative. Ever since major corporations have started taking over the news services, whether it be newspapers, magazines, radio stations, or television networks, there have become fewer and fewer options for finding unbiased information. It has never been so apparent when Donald J. Trump became our 55th President, or when he ran for his second term. I was hoping that with the advent of the World Wide Web, we would regain that parity. Initially, we did achieve that goal; however, major corporations struck again, and now, with the exception of X, Truth Social, and maybe Rumble, you only have information that is slanted to one side.
To combat this growing trend, I had to start a blog of my own, one that I pay for so that I can get my message out. Unfortunately, I am still being blocked by left-leaning search engines, such as Google and Bing. It should be apparent that I am a stubborn individual, and one who doesn’t give up the fight easily. That is one of the reasons that I write my books. Even my fictional works convey a message.
