I originally started writing this book to simply relive the highlights of my life. It has since grown into a family project with the help of my sister, and aunt and a cousin thrown in for good measure. Nobody gives death much though when they are young. You think you will live forever. I am 58 years at the writing of this book. I have seen my mother, father, a stepfather and two brothers pass away. It is now just my sister and I left from our immediate family. My sister just lost here husband as well. Suddenly the thought of death has become a reality and the fear of disappearing into oblivion is weighing very heavily on me. Everybody wants to make a mark in life and to do something that will be remembered long after they die. Unfortunately the vast majority of us do not realize those dreams and simply was away into obscurity. I have included some photos of my family with their names listed where I could. With this rather amateurish attempt at writing I hope to preserve some of our family history and maybe make a indelible mark in our history. Thank You for your patronage and forbearance.
