I know this is a dubious honor, and one I am sure the Salazar family did not earn, but here it is anyway. If not for the life-threatening and altering experience that happened to my wife Connie’s nephew Kyle Salazar this book would never have been written. I am thankful that he and his mother are okay. Kyle experienced something that no one should ever experience. Thankfully he is young and therefore highly resilient. So I am sure that he will make a full recovery from his event.
