Was It Meant To Be, President Trump’s Two Terms Being Separated?

I have written several articles on our President Trump. A list of the links have been provided at the bottom of this article for your convenience. This article will, however address different aspects on President Trump’s Presidency.

This article will be a short editorial posting based on some of my observations and thoughts.

No one who honestly reviews their financial status under the first three years of the Trump presidency can deny that they were better off financially then they are now under the Biden administration. The price of gas was half of what it is now, food prices were substantially lower, You could go to a fast food restaurant with your spouse and spend way less than $20. It is hard to go to a restaurant and not spend way over $50 for a couple not including a tip, That is not even a quality restaurant either. The interest rates for mortgages were in the 2% range. I could go on forever on the financial aspects of Trump’s presidency. Our country was respected and feared in the global arena, China, Russia, North Korea and Iran were being held in check, and there were no new wars. Hell, even peace was looming in the future in the Middle East. Our border was becoming more and more secure every day. The wall would have been totally completed by the end of his presidency, if Congress and the Justice department had not stood in his way.

There were, bad parts to his presidency as well, he was highly divisive in his comments and he managed to alienate many groups in the US, There were protests and a great deal of damage being done to our northern cities after the George Floyd debacle, Even though a vaccine was engineered for Covid-19 under his administration, there was a great deal of push back by the left towards it. He was not given enough credit for his handling of the pandemic, mainly due to the unfair press he was receiving from the vast majority of the media. There is no denying that he received a lot of bad advice by Trojan horse advisors and cabinet members, even from his VP Pence. Thanks to the efforts at blocking Trumps appointments by Congress, he had to keep a lot of Obama’s lackeys in positions of power. His presidency kind of reminded me of Julius Caesar reign in Rome. While he didn’t get literally stabbed in the back by Brutus, he figuratively got stabbed in the back by multiple individuals, including his own Brutus, Mike Pence. He could have requested an investigation and recount in several of the battle ground states. But he refused to do so.

There were also the two impeachment hearings, and the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax that we had to contend with as well. Let’s face it we all were getting a little tired of his incessant negative Tweeting. I firmly believe that he was his own worse enemy. I also believe that hour country was not ready for his type of Leadership. He actually did what he said he would do, and that pissed off a lot of people.

So just maybe this four year break from Trump is a good thing. I think a lot of people are realizing that even with all the vitriol we were doing pretty good as a country. I also think he had a chance to step back and take stock of what he did wrong and did right. I also think that he now knows who is enemies and who his friends are. I am hoping this hiatus will help him to establish a more cohesive administration and thereby make his presidency more efficient and effective. Even though I though he should have chosen a women as a running mate, I do think J.D. Vance was also a pretty good choice. My wife Connie and I went to see one of his rally’s just a few days ago, and I have to admit he was quite impressive. He is actually more eloquent then Trump.

My major concern is that the Dems have found a way to cheat that Trump can’t overcome. I don’t think that the Republicans have been giving enough credence to all those millions of illegal immigrants crossing the border. I won’t believe that he can win till it actually happens. Harris is also a much more formidable opponent than Biden was. Even if she is not Black, she still is though of as black, and she will also pull the female vote, possible from the right as well. That is why I wanted him to choose either, Kristi Noem or Tulsi Gabbard as his running mate. His choice of Vance may just be his kryptonite. While he will help with the mid western vote, he is still a white male, just lke Pence was. Trump’s weakness in 2020, was that he pissed off a lot of women, and his choice of Vance did nothing to correct this issue.

Only time will tell if he wins or not, He must stay alive first, though. The assassination attempt on him just a couple of weeks ago was a stark wake-up call. While I think it was a loan gunman who fired upon him, there certainly are a lot of unanswered questions about his protection detail. The fact that he is alive at all is not due to the Secret Service, but to God. Let us pray that he will stay safe. One thing I noted during the J.D.Vance rally, I was not terribly impressed with his protection detail. I am also terrified of the prospect of Trump holding another rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. All we can do is pray and hope for the best, because I firmly believe that we cannot tolerate a Harris presidency. Think of it if she wins, we could have eight years of her.
